What is Palm Reading ?

Palm Reading is the art or practice of supposedly interpreting a person's character or predicting their future by examining the palm of their hand.


Palm reading, otherwise known as palmistry or chiromancy, is practiced all over the world. It has its roots in Indian astrology. The objective is to evaluate a person's character or future by studying the palm of their hand.


Palm Reading is the divination method to see your characteristics, talents, health and fortunes by observing your hand's lines and thickness. Depends on the palmists, they will observe not only your palm but also your fingerprints, shapes of your hands and nails, and length of your fingers.


Palmistry is a form of palm reading. This form of divination used shapes, lines and patterns on the hands to make forecasts about a persons life's present past and future. The basic theory behind palmistry is that the hands have information about a person's significant life's events and personality.


Elemental Palmistry

Elemental palmistry is a very interesting way of studying palms of individuals. The palm types are divided into four basic elements, the fire, earth, air and water. The palm representing a certain element would indicate the traits that are attributed to the element. The hands into two parts, the palm and the fingers. The Earth Hand The earth hand is also known as the erda. Recognizing the hand is quite easy as one has to look for two distinct features only. Long, curved line (running down toward the bottom corner of the palm): You're a creative thinker who can imagine many possible outcomes or approaches to any situation.

The Heart Line

Short, straight line (ending between the middle and index fingers): You need your freedom. You show your love through actions more than words.

Long, curved line (arcing up and reaching the base of the middle finger): Your passions and desires drive you, and you don't care who knows it.

Short, curved line (arcing up and ending about a half inch below the base of the middle finger): You are reserved and prefer small groups to big ones. You open up in one-on-one settings.

Line with two or more X's at the outer palm: You've experienced a deep personal betrayal.

Line that splits in two: You have a habit of putting your emotions on the back burner to meet others' needs.

The Life Line
